Job Summary: Develop and coordinate public relations and communications campaigns, establish relations with media, and serve as media contact. Produce content for publications and promotional materials, maintain content of Company's external and internal websites, write media releases, internal memorandums and serve as the in-house voice talent for eLearning modules. Assist with drafting speeches for company executives, oversee the development of the company newsletter, assist with marketing projects, and create storyboards and video scripts. Provide writing and editing support and participation in Company proposal efforts. Organize press conferences, tours, and assist with coordinating Company events.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or other related field combined with a minimum of 2 years of communications and public relations experience in a corporate environment required. Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered. Knowledge of public relations principles/practices and corporate branding required as well as experience writing press releases, marketing collateral, and developing communication plans required.

Qualified candidates must have exceptional writing skills (technical and creative) and strategic thinking skills in order to quickly grasp complex issues and distill information into clear and concise messages that an audience can understand. Must be able to lead a team and provide supervision and direction when necessary. Must have a demonstrated ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently. Proficient computers skills including Microsoft Office programs required with an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

Experience managing Web sites and/or portals, scripting online training modules, and video production and graphic skills preferred. The ability to speak well for voice over purposes and on camera is a plus. Familiarity with local and national media, work experience within a healthcare industry as well as knowledge of AP style guides preferred. National Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
