Software Engineering Intern
We are seeking students who are available to work for at least 6 months that are currently enrolled as a full-time student and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must also have the permanent right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The Post-Silicon Functional Validation team develops and executes tests to discover and help resolve functional issues within the processor. You will participate in the development of a new test framework that will be used to locate bugs in Intel's newest processors. You will work closely with software architects and engineers to define test processes and procedures for this test framework and will be exposed to processor validation activities.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
You should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be available to work for at least 6 months.
Additional qualifications include:
- 3-6 months experience with C/C++ is a requirement
- 3-6 months experience with Object Oriented Programming

- Understanding of CPU and computer architecture
- A previous internship
- Experience with Qulity Assurance
- Proven software design, coding and debugging skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
