Job Description:

Primary Role :

In addition, this job also collaborates with vendors and end users to review specifications, align business needs with system functionality, and make recommendations about Information Technology systems, specifically related to Lawson software. Facilitates project implementations to include work process analysis, system design, build, test, maintenance and support of enterprise Information Technology systems. Understands current and future state concepts and practices related to departmental operations to maximize technology project implementations. Maintains a high level of technical competence in areas of responsibility and serves as a resource for complex process and/or system issues. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals within established timelines. Is autonomous but able to work as a team member or leader on broader, more complex projects. On call required.

Responsibilities:

Experience providing application support, configuration, and maintenance with a proven ability to troubleshoot and design applications as required. Demonstrated knowledge of application break/fix and maintenance, software upgrades and new functionality deployment. Initiate conversations with vendors, management, peers and end users to make system and/or process recommendations based on end user business needs and organizational goal alignment. Consistent use of project management methodologies including budget tracking to effectively manage medium to large projects. Facilitates and directs the implementation, work flow analysis, design, build, test, and maintenance of systems to support clinical and/or financial processes based on end-user needs. Works with multi-disciplinary teams to standardize workflows, automate processes, improve system performance and gain efficiencies through technology. Monitors system activities, identifies issues, resolves problems, and appropriately escalates issues to manager or vendor. Serves as a resource on complex issues and brings solutions to the forefront. collaborates within Information Technology and with departmental stakeholders to ensure project and departmental goals are met through measurable metrics. Provides training documentation and/or training as needed to transition to support, both internal and external to IT.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years in healthcare field or related area with 3+ years proven Information Technology experience.
  • Must maintain current licensure, certification, or registration if applicable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of ERP experience with Lawson required.
  • Lawson Procurement suite and Mobile Supply Chain experience highly preferred.
