AKQA is looking for an Associate Media Planner (AMP) for its New York office. As an AMP, you will assist in the implementation and stewardship of media plans for your assigned clients. In addition, you will provide support to the Media Supervisor in the development of media plans.
As an Associate Media Planner, you will gain a general understanding of advertising, media planning, media research and your designated clients’ businesses. You will learn about specialized media planning software, how to develop and maintain records of integrated media plans, and how to implement media activity.
As an AMP you will:
Maintain and organize media plan support documents (i.e., spreadsheets, flowcharts, RFPs, IOs)
Ensure media plans are running as scheduled
Prepare campaign delivery reports
Input insertion orders
Reconcile and manage media billing
Compile competitive spending analysis
Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates should be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. Training will be provided for more specialized media planning software (IMS, @plan, etc.). The person must have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to multi-task. Prior experience: 1 year media experience preferred
