Cogent HMG seeks a Regional Director of Operations for our East Region (FL, GA, TN, MS, LA, NC, VA, PA, MA, NJ, CT, NY,). The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of relationships with client hospitals, ensuring successful new site start-ups, resolution of any elevated issues, makes certain that sites meet their financial targets, and coordination and implementation of quality initiatives within the practices. This professional individual must be an energetic and outgoing leader who enjoys business travel on a regular basis. He/She will have previous experience in an operations-related role within the medical field, proven mentoring/coaching skills, exceptional presentation skills, and the ability to establish and maintain excellent physician relationships.
Represent the Senior Operations team at Joint Operations Committee meetings in various programs as requested by Regional Chief Operations Officer
Represent Senior Operations in establishing, developing and maintaining client relationships.
Facilitate and lead JOC process improvement efforts
Assist in practice management support to programs to achieve staffing and scheduling efficiencies
Audit existing programs against expected daily performance duties and performance metrics.
In collaboration with Regional COO, establish improvement plans as needed based on audit findings.
Propagate best practices in clinical and operational support functions
Participate in new Program Manager hiring process
Serve as interim Program Manager in new programs
Facilitate new Program Manager training
Assist in managing program budgets and participate in the budget planning process
Serve in a Program Manager role in their local program (if applicable)
80% travel or more will be required
Will include management of multiple programs in the East Region.
Required travel will be 80% or more.
Ideal Candidate will live in a state that is within our East Region for ease of travel and maximum cost effectiveness.
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Nursing - Required
MBA/MHA/MPH - Strongly Preferred
Allied Health Degree helpful (RN, RPT, OTR, SLP, RT, PA, NP)
Acute Care/Inpatient Experience - Required
Physician Practice Management Experience – Strongly Preferred
Prior experience in multiple remote program management – Strongly Preferred
Maintains strict confidentiality with regard to protected health information and understands and adheres to Cogent HMG’s HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures
