Provide support for end-users on all Microsoft Office Products, Windows XP/7, Video Conferencing, Phone equipment and other software products. The Support Specialist may also help in Windows Network account administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide quick, reliable, friendly service to Fabcon’s end-users
  • Support end-users in Microsoft Office products and questions pertaining to them
  • Help in the Windows XP/Windows 7 account administration and Microsoft Exchange server administration
  • Support the end-users on various technical hardware and software questions
  • Upgrade and maintain system hardware and software
  • Partner with IT Staff to create new solutions for Network security and operations
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (AA.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four (4) year college degree or equivalent work experience working with various PC’s, networks, and software administration
  • One (1) year experience working with all types of customers and base needs
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, that may include working more than 40 hours a week
  • Must be able to travel
Work Environment:
  • Normal office environment
  • Periodic visits to plant and field
  • Periodic travel
  • Must be able to bend and/or crawl under desks
