Key areas of focus include reverse engineering, persistence/anti-persistence technologies, forensics/anti-forensic analysis, vulnerability assessment, wireless and network communications, and low level development. Linux Information Security Tool Developers
are needed to fill multiple positions in
Annapolis Junction and Linthicum Maryland
Work developing and maintaining low level application, and operating system projects related to software protection and host-based personal security tools. Projects will be undertaken in small teams with close coordination with customers to quickly enhance capabilities or resolve issues in existing tools.
6+ years experience with C/C++ programming in a Linux/Unix environment
Experience developing Linux kernel mode code
Proficiency debugging Linux user and kernel mode components
Knowledge and understanding of Linux internal structures
Familiarity analyzing x86 instructions
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship required.
Must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Applicants selected for an interview will be asked to supply a portfolio of work demonstrating their required expertise.
New employees will undergo a 6 month probationary apprenticeship program. During this time they will partake in Raytheon SI's Cyber boot camp. They will also become familiar with in-house proprietary tools and methods through hands on work. New employees will be mentored and evaluated by senior engineers selected to best match the skills and desired role of the new employee. Portions of the training may take place at the headquarters office in Indialantic, Florida. Applicants that lack a Top Secret clearance with a full scope lifestyle polygraph will also use this time for security processing and evaluation.
