with Diebold, Incorporated, you will be expected to assist in all passive and active candidate sourcing activities Director level and below through the use of the following sources but not limited to: networking, referrals, internal database searches, job boards, cold calling, internet mining, and social media outlets.
The Talent Sourcer is a newly created position, so you will have some autonomy in creating this role from the ground up. You will report to the Manager of Staffing & Talent Management in North Canton, OH and will not have any direct supervisory experience. You will collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Partners, Talent Management, Business Unit Leaders, Hiring Managers, Internal and External Candidates, University Career Centers and External Third Party Recruiters/Agencies. This position may be located in North Canton, OH; Schaumburg, IL; Charlotte, NC; or Coppell, TX. Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
Your Essential Functions will include:
Supporting multiple Talent Acquisition Specialists at a time.
Screening candidates for availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, relocation needs, basic qualifications and technical expertise.
Focusing on identifying strong diverse talent by designing and executing creative sourcing strategies.
Building a robust network of top talent, gaining market intelligence and assessing candidates to gauge talent alignment for a specific role or business function.
Internet sourcing for candidates, sourcing support for the Talent Acquisition team as required, partnering to develop sourcing and recruiting strategies/campaigns.
Building and developing high value relationships with potential candidates.
Acting as search expert for functional areas.
Proactively conducting research to uncover potential candidates.
Leverage networking, cold calling and complex internet searches and research.
Ensuring adherence to the selection process.
Providing timely feedback to candidates as necessary.
Ensuring data accuracy in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Preliminary phone screens as necessary.
Taking a proactive approach to meeting staffing requirements to include: attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using a variety of innovative sourcing techniques while staying abreast of developing market conditions and trends.
Conducting initial screening of candidates through applicant tracking system.
Working with Coordinator to schedule phone interview between candidates and Talent Acquisition Specialists.
Ensuring processes and procedures promote the best talent and meet internal promotional goals and follow OFCCP compliance.
Traveling to local events with potential for broader domestic travel Minimum qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD, or business
1 year of sourcing, recruiting or human resources experience (including internships)
Phone screening/interviewing skills
Internet navigation/data mining/Boolean search skills for sourcing purposes
Proven ability to source candidates using a wide variety of sources beyond job boards
General knowledge of employment law and hiring practices required
Ability to work on and close multiple assignments concurrently and in a timely manner
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to travel for evening and overnight events
Preferred additional qualifications:
Prior third party recruiting experience
Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo)
