The Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy in the UK College of Pharmacy is seeking an experienced database analyst to coordinate the management and analysis of health care claims data in an enterprise database environment. Position will be responsible for developing and maintaining additional data infrastructure to facilitate the management of data in the IPOP clinical data warehouse and to facilitate biomedical research activities. This includes the design, development, execution, documentation, quality assurance activities, as well as specific ad-hoc requests. The analysts will work with researchers, professional staff, and students from IPOP to develop SQL and PL/SQL used to create data extracts for use in research proposals and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise databases, experience with BI tools, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing schedules, priorities and workflows.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Development and management skills in BI/BA tools, Informatica, Tableau, T-SQL and PL/SQL. Strong communication skills (verbal and written); knowledge and experience in a health care environment.
Preferred Education / Experience
BA+ 4 years experience in database systems support,
analysis, implementation, and/or operations.
