Role Summary: Responsible for the coordination of the volunteer services program including selection, orientation, placement and evaluation of volunteers in approved volunteer positions. Coordinates all activities related to volunteers; represents the Hospital to the community. Responsible for department goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and budgets. Works with CEO to identify and implement the long-range goals for the volunteer services program .

Required Experience : Specific experience in human services, health care, or geriatrics helpful. Administrative management skills, leadership abilities, public relations and community knowledge highly desired. Must be a warm, caring professional with problem solving skills, patience, and leadership ability. At least one year of related, professional experience required or very extensive internship.
