This role is responsible for managing the delivery of development programs for the functional areas (e.g. Plant Operations, Finance, and HR). This position is responsible for achieving key measures such
as program quality, business impact and budgetary expectations. Other important aspects of this role include project management, facilitation, ensuring appropriate and cost effective delivery methods, and the execution of a robust measurement strategy. This position is responsible for the alignment of the development programs with the respective functional talent strategy and reports to the Functions Learning Leader.
40% - Delivery Management - Manage scheduling, resource and logistical planning of ongoing and new functional development programs. Proactively identify, secure and/or prepare resources such as program materials, facilitation support, senior leader involvement, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the programs are effectively executed.
20%- Instructional Design & Development: Responsible for the design and development of instructor-led and technology-enabled curriculum utilizing our educational methodology. Designs and develops in a range of learning solutions, applicable in a global environment (i.e., classroom, eLearning, blended solutions, etc.) that address business and performance needs. Designs cost effective and scalable solutions that are practical and creative in the respective business environment. In addition, is responsible for the management and quality of output by 3rd Party contractors assigned to projects.
20% - Project Management: Takes personal responsibility for project performance by actively monitoring progress and proactively communicating with key stakeholders and constituencies in order to quickly resolve issues impacting quality/time/budget through leverage of internal project management tools. (Project Charter, Project Status Report, Stakeholder Analysis, Change Management, Communication plan, etc.).
20% - Client Consulting: Responsible for consulting with clients to scope needs and identify possible learning solutions based on needs. Uses an iterative process to frequently check with the client or target audience to get feedback and make appropriate adjustments.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource, learning/ educational field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years work experience with adult learning solutions, using a systematic, but practical approach of analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation in variety of delivery methods
Proven experience in building content delivered to global audiences using e-learning and virtual classroom formats
Demonstrated business and global acumen at all levels of the organization
Ability to influence without authority
Capacity to work collaboratively within a virtual, global team environment
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and measure program effectiveness and value
Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as to get quality work done through others
Demonstrated conceptual strength and strategic thinking skills
Ability to work in a high energy, learning environment where resiliency and timely turnaround of quality work is essential
Capacity to work within a virtual, global team environment
Proven creativity and openness to new approaches and emerging change
Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
Technical proficiency in e-learning authoring tools
Experience in working with competency models, curriculum alignment and competency assessment techniques
Advanced degree in learning/educational field
Experience operating in regions outside of North America
Experience developing in Captivate, Articulate, Flash or other e-learning tools
Demonstrated global acumen at all levels of the organization
