Provide operational support to the Violation and Toll Administrator. This role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects and general business analyst responsibilities.
Provide financial and operational information to the Administrator for planning and evaluation of programs related to traffic violations and toll road programs. From the analysis of business issues to the creation and execution of violation and toll road program initiatives this role provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to help facilitate the continuous improvement of a profitable shared services department while developing skills and experience that will allow you to rapidly grow your career within Hertz.

Key Result Areas
Strategy/Planning – Assist the Administrator with the development of both short term and long term strategic plans. Work with our third party processor to understand business drivers.
Operational Performance Management – Provide data collection, analysis and recommendations on continuous improvement initiatives directed towards violations and tolls. Track and report on initiatives progress. Participate in benchmarking projects through data collection, validation and analysis of data. Assist with tracking and reporting of performance on identified initiatives. Collect periodic operational metrics for reporting and analysis. Perform special projects in limited scope independently as requested. Take general requests and be able to produce a meaningful, finished analysis with minimal review or supervision. Communicate results, recommendations and findings to the Administrator and management when requested.
Business Decision Support - Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. Manage special projects to ensure successful completion. Will work in framing issues, generating alternatives, and driving the improvement processes. Ensure necessary business controls are in place to support business goals. Provide analysis of the impact of decisions on business profitability, internal costs and satisfaction. Perform financial simulation that includes the collection of data/information and assumptions, choosing the most appropriate valuation model and provide results of this analysis to the Administrator. Develop analysis tools as needed. Ensure rapid turnaround in delivery of information. Prepare and support other initiatives as requested. Continually seek ways to develop and improve processes.
Reporting - Assist the Administrator with the monitoring of our third party processor’s KPI’s, weekly/monthly settlements and quarterly business reviews to assure that SLA’s are being met.
Special Projects - Manage special projects to successful completion which may include special projects in the Vehicle Control Department.
Additional Duties – Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Education: College degree required. Degree in business, finance, accounting or MIS disciplines preferred.
1 to 2 years’ experience in program and/or project management preferred.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Must have excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have the ability to meet critical deadlines, with a keen attention to detail.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret functional area programs, goals, policies, and procedures.
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format, with all internal and external contacts.
Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and have the ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization.
Must possess good knowledge of office systems including Lotus Notes, MS Office: Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint and use the Internet.
Must possess exceptional organizational skills (scheduling, detail orientation, proactive follow-up, overall project management, multi-tasking).
