Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for Women's Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball, including proper instruction in the Olympic lifts, nutrition, and injury prevention. Maintain a safe and orderly facility. Implement rehabilitative exercises for injured student-athletes as prescribed by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach or Head Athletic Trainer. Includes additional duties assigned by Head Strength Coach.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Must be certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS certification) or by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC certification). Must have at least 2 academic years full or part-time work experience in an NCAA strength and conditioning program working with male and female student-athletes in a variety of sports. USAW Club or Sport Performance coach certification preferred.

Appointment: This position is a 12-month, full-time appointment. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
