Strategy & Transformation
Serco’s Strategy, Learning and Human Capital Business Unit provides a variety of services that span the entire Human Capital and Learning lifecycle, with a particular focus on talent strategy, workforce planning, performance management, mobile learning, and more. The business unit also supports the entire hire to retire life cycle for government employees, including recruiting, onboarding, developing and supporting employees as they transition into retirement. We integrate strategy, technology savvy and operational know-how to design, develop and implement people programs that deliver enduring outcomes for the federal workforce.
Compiles, maintains, verifies and may interpret data in accordance with plans developed by others. Performs basic trend analyses of data in order to identify any potential technical and management problems. Assists with drafting reports of findings along with related documentation for higher level review. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Provides program and technical support to accommodate program analysis requirements, tracking the execution of various functions and assisting program planning efforts. The work shall consist of documentation review, preparation of special reports, providing recommendations for program improvements, preparing and/or reviewing technical documentation, preparing presentation material, preparing briefing documents, and providing administrative support as necessary for resolution of identified procedural problems. The technical support shall be able to obtain new enlisted and officer contract information through liaison with other departments, verifying appropriate documentation, and matching information from Navy web-based applications and databases, and updating selected records.
Required Skills and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 0-3 years experience. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.
Advanced MS Excel skills/experience required. MS Access experience desired.
Navy/Military Recruiting support experience desired.
