Under general supervision, escorts children across an assigned intersection; controls traffic when children are in intersection; enforces safety regulations; performs related duties as required.
This very important job is Monday through Friday, and may require 2.5 to 4 hours of your time per day. Shifts will vary, depending on assigned school and need. Schedule may be approximately 12 hours per week; daily shift variations of 1.5 hours in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon may be required. Applicants must be willing to travel to assigned school up to two (2) times per day.

Education, Training, and Work Experience:
Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance.
Must have own transportation to and from work sites. Must be willing to travel to assigned site up to two (2) times per day.
Vision sufficient to see traffic coming from up to four different directions; dexterity sufficient to continually get up and down out of a chair; ability to hear car horns and voices; endurance to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Primary work environment will be outdoors in various field locations. Incumbents will be exposed to a wide range of weather conditions and outdoor temperatures reaching below 40 degrees F and above 100 degrees F. Incumbents come into contact with loud and rambunctious children.
