Performs a variety of duties within the cafeteria operation, including interacting with customers, monitoring food quality and availability and handling check-out duties at the cash register. Uses appropriate infection control and food handling procedures according to department policy. Interactions with customers or patients are age-appropriate from child to geriatric.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must b able to read, write and communicate effectively with customers. Cash register experience helpful.
Reports to Supervisor, Food and Nutrition Services, Cafeteria.
