Need strong Ruby Rails developers to develop Ecommerce site for Client Must have experience working on ecommerce and auction sites Very strong Ruby AJAX javascript requiredMutliple development projects on RubyonRails Must have over 3 years of Ruby development Must have Gems development The team is looking for a selforganized Software Engineer with solid web application and web service development experience utilizing Ruby with heavy emphasis on Ruby on Rails and JRUBY to be a member of our development team In this position you are first and foremost a passionate and talented developer that can work in a dynamic environment as a member of Agile Scrum teams You love to code and keep up with the latest tools and technologies Additionally you are capable of leading and mentoring less seasoned developers Your strong technical leadership problem solving abilities coding testing and debugging skills is just a start You must be dedicated to working on product backlog and delivering productionready code in three to five week sprints You must also be committed to continuous improvement of the agile process demonstrating your ability to share knowledge mentor and motivate others You must be willing to go beyond the routine and prepared to do a little bit of everything The best candidate for this position will have worked on front end andor serverside web applications using a variety of technologies such as Ruby Python Perl PHP Java The candidate’s responsibility will require a focus on all aspects of the product development life cycle You must be able to work in a challenging dynamic environment with many interactions with people from different backgrounds and roles ranging from scrum masters architects product owners analysts testers and functional managers This position is based in Foster City CA and will report to the Business Leader of Application Development
