Colgate-Palmolive invites application for the HR Assistant position locatedin our NY office. The HR Assistant provides administrative support to Vice President, North America Human Resources and HR coordination support for U.S. Finance. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate travel, calendar and expense reports for Vice President as needed.
Provide administrative assistance for various meetings, including off-site meetings as needed.
Serve as back-up for Administrative Assistant supporting Division President
Run SAP budget reports. Codes and monitors expenses to budget and informs Vice President of discrepancies.
Compose both routine and non-routine correspondence (e.g. minutes, announcements etc.). Independently respond to and follows-up on requests for information. Shares sensitive information and keeps others informed within department.
Collaborate with other support staff to balance workload as needed.
Perform frequent and diversified assignments and projects with limited supervision, using project management skills. This includes: You Can Make A Difference Program, Admin Learning Series.
Manage the administration of the e360 Feedback process.
Manage department e-teamrooms
Responsible for the administration of the employee anniversary service program for U.S Company
Process all HR related invoices in eBuy
Manage the Personal Leadership Award Program for U.S. Company
Support administration of selected training programs
Support HR Generalist for US Finance with Succession Planning preparation and meeting facilitation; tracking PM&D completion status, Code of Conduct Certification and Compliance Training requests, and other HR processes as needed.
Subject matter expert for PM&D and all tools on ColgatePeople; troubleshoot technical issues for client group
Manage all employee data changes for client group; maintain organization data integrity in SAP
Run and analyze SAP HR reports as needed for client group
Manage domestic and international moves for client group into the US (STA's, LTA's, etc); work with external immigration attorney to obtain appropriate visa documentation
Participate in and lead other HR projects as assigned
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
BA/BS degree required
At least three years Human Resources or equivalent experience required
Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized, detail oriented
Must possess strong data analytical skills
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, SAP and eBuy
Experience with key HR processes (recruitment, compensation, succession planning, training)
Exercises excellent judgment
Acts with high degree of confidentiality to the access of information that is highly sensitive in nature.
Plans, organizes and prioritizes workload
