WHIDBEYTV BUSINESS MANAGER - LANGLEY, WA
The WhidbeyTV Business (Program and Product) Manager will be responsible for defining the product strategy and building and executing the product roadmap to support the Company goals. He/She will manage the rollout and delivery of the WhidbeyTV product and will be responsible for the ongoing success of the product. This position requires someone who can be strategic yet also roll up his or her sleeves tactically. Someone who has demonstrated success with start-ups and emerging organizations and understands how to build and grow a new business is ideal. This position reports to the COO and requires close coordination with other departments.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO:
Setting and executing on operating and sales budgets.
Forecasting sales and planning future market requirements.
Developing WhidbeyTV and related product roadmaps.
Planning & coordinating with Department Managers.
Managing performance to operating and sales budgets.
Managing product and program schedules across multi-functional teams.
Managing financial performance and efficiencies for the WhidbeyTV Product.
Providing timely status and performance updates to Senior Management.
Content and contract management.
Other duties as assigned.
3 plus years’ experience managing products/programs including financial responsibility with demonstrated success; TV Product Management experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with a Technical or business major; MBA, a plus.
Self-starter with lots of initiative.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in gathering requirements and developing documents for business plans, business processes, functional requirements and user interface design.
Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently, cross-functionally, and directly with the executive team at times.
Pre-employment and on-going drug screens required.
Pass background check.
Must be eligible to work in the USA.
