The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, in accordance with orders from the physician through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient's life. The Occupational Therapist supervises COTAs who provide OT treatments delegated to them for patients under the Occupational Therapist's care. The Occupational Therapist participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
