Business Overview: Our Treasury and Trade Services team offers industry-leading receivables solutions to multi-national corporations, financial institutions and the public sector. These include check collections and foreign cash letter processing, wholesale and retail lockboxes, remote deposit capture and cash vault services. Description
of Role: The Depository Services and National Vault Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting the day to day cash operations activities performed by several outsourced service providers which include third party financial institutions and armored couriers. These services allow our clients to deposit cash and checks into their Citibank accounts by leveraging partner bank branch networks and couriers that align with their geographic footprint. In addition to the support of daily oversight and management of vendor performance, this individual will be responsible for resolving client escalations, leading ongoing Ops-sponsored initiatives and supporting the implementation of strategic product enhancements and expansion. Key Responsibilities: · Support the oversight and daily performance management of vendors. · Promptly resolve client escalations, including liaising with internal partners or vendors to complete full root cause analysis and follow-through to resolution to ensure issues are not repeated. · Liaise with multiple Operations teams and vendors to ensure a quality product is delivered to external and internal customers. · Promptly investigate and resolve any cash breaks related to responsible functions. · Implement process improvements, service enhancements, or technology enhancements · Maintain pristine controls environment for supported Products · Resolve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes · Support initiatives to reduce expense through improved technology builds or process changes · Support ad-hoc projects as defined by management Qualifications Requirements and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Cash Operations · Knowledge of the Cash Operations business environment preferred · Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to understand how financial transactions affect the operating systems/GL · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Strong project management, analytical, and investigation skills · Proven ability to present complex ideas, negotiate and influence team members across various functional groups · Highly organized with a successful track record leading projects and delivering superior results · Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to resolve issues
