Broadcast Media Services Technician - Intern
Project or Position Description
Provide support to the Radio, TV and other RBC Ministry efforts through the
auditioning, editing, duplication, and distribution of audio, video, and misc.
Duration – Specify Desired Dates/Times
This is a one year internship available beginning April 1st, 2013
Audition radio programs/create, convert and upload program files.
Assist in duplication and shipping of radio program CD’s.
Audition and duplication of Day of Discovery tapes and DVD’s.
Assist in shipping of DOD tapes and DVD’s.
Setup and operate audio/video equipment during weekly chapel services.
Digital archiving of audio library.
Other misc. duties as assigned by BMS Team Leader.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with the operation and use of computers and non-linear editing
Familiarity with various audio and video file formats.
Ability to quickly comprehend new technology to be able to use various pieces of
equipment found in the post production facility.
Familiarity with the operation of audio mixing consoles, audio equipment
(wireless mics, cd recorders, etc.) and video cameras.
Have the interpersonal relationship skills to work well in a collaborative, team
