The Manager may report directly to the Senior Manager and/or Principal in charge of the Firm's national valuation practice, focusing in real estate, and will support new business leads, develop client and referral relationships, as well as lead and develop staff. The Manager will serve as a technical expert in the area of corporate finance and drive business development and service delivery. Specifically, the Manager will:
Perform a variety of independent valuation advisory services to include, but not limited to:
implementation and compliance with SFAS 141/142
buy/sell agreements
identification and valuation of intangible assets
sale of assets or the business
valuation opinions and fairness opinions
ESOP
litigation support
Perform a variety of strategic and financial advisory services to include, but not limited to:
profit and value enhancement
merger and acquisition advisory
structured transactions
business and strategic planning
succession planning services
support new business development through identifying and cultivating new client relationships and existing firm relationships, successfully pursuing/closing warm leads, and expanding the scope of current engagements
serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, fieldwork execution, and final deliverable development.

play a key entrepreneurial role in the growth of the practice
Support recruiting initiatives, to include:

maintaining an active contact list to include previous employment contacts, college alumni, associations, etc.
participating in both the experienced and college hiring recruiting process
taking responsibility for identifying, attracting, and developing current and future talent of the Firm
Manage and develop staff, to include:
taking responsibility for subordinates' activities and chargeability. Effectively delegate work to staff

Essential Experience (special skills and experience, licenses, certifications, and education)
BS/BA finance preferred (accounting, economics); MBA finance preferred
Certifications: MAI,CVA, ASA, CFA, CM&A, and CPA a plus
Experience with real estate valuation a plus
Minimum 5-8 years strategic business consulting, valuation, and/or investment banking experience in corporate finance
Expertise in financial analysis, specifically valuation analysis, economic analysis, trend analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and complex financial modeling
Proven track record in identifying, pursuing, and closing on new business development opportunities
Demonstrated project and staff management skills
Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
