Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Consumer Safety Info Specialist opening to join our Whirlpool Technology and Engineering organization. Day to Day (what a typical day or week look like in this role) Today, you might be creating a new package of literature for a Refrigerator, inlcuding User and Care Manual, Tags located in the product or Service Diagrams. Tomorrow, you'll be reviewing an existent product literature due to Regulatory changes. And, you might also be supporting cross functional team as Freezers, Side by Side refrigerators and external licenced products. What You Will Do Create and develop new package of literature for a Refrigerator (inlcuding, User and Care Manual, Serial and model Tags) Generate Enginering Notice for changes related to literature Follow up projects related to literature supporting projects, pursuing the literature package approval. Work with Literature suppliers, to develop new or review literature package for a Refrigerator. Work with the literature approval organization, inlcuding lead follow up meetings. Manage large amount of information to create a literature package. What You Need To Succeed Associate Degree in communication, Associate Degree in Mechanical Microsoft software experience, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc. Ability to conceive and visualize ideas and concepts from verbal and written instructions; and the ability to articulate ideas and concepts to others. Ability to work effectively with others in a cross funtional organization. Knowledge of basic written communication required to generate usable and helpful information for the consumer. Preferred work experience in designing the following component types: Paper User and Care Manuals, Tags (Serial, Model, service information), work experience using communications skills is a plus.
