Be part of our mission, to ensure that the residents of Franklin and Grand Isle Counties have access to high quality services, which promote healthy living and emotional well-being. NCSS is looking for a Database Administrator with s trong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to join our technology team. Our new Database Administrator will develop custom databases and reports for outcome measurement. Responsibilities will include maintaining, tuning and expanding our SQL server data warehouse as well as all reporting modules. The Database Administrator will also work with the Health Information Manager and Technology Manager to ensure HIPAA compliance, information security and business continuity planning. As a member of the technology team, our Database Administrator will be required to a ssist with maintenance of agency hardware and software infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and able to communicate at all levels of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Microsoft SQL programming and Windows Operating Systems; working knowledge of Active Directory and security configuration, as related to SQL; and experience with client-server computing and relational database design. A working knowledge of MS Access and VBA are highly desired! Experience with IBM DB2, virtual environments and health care field are a plus!

Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience
