The Ann Arbor office of SmithGroupJJR is looking for a Network Analyst to join our Corporate IT team. This person will ensure the smooth operation of our multisite network for Voice, Video, and Data communications and hold a primary role in the corporate infrastructure management team. This position’s responsibilities are to provide ubiquitous and secure access for local, remote users, and external clients, as well as maintain and monitor networks to ensure a peak performing, low latency experience for our firm. Working with us, you will - Provide direction and high level support in multiple integrated technical areasfunctions (i.e.

LANWAN support, systems security management, communications, WiFi, disaster recovery, etc.) - Provide enterprise-wide management and troubleshooting for Cisco switches and routers in all SmithGroupJJR offices - Install and maintain network hardware and software - Troubleshoot, analyze and solve network, software and equipment problems - Evaluate new software and hardware provide recommendations to improve efficiency and IT - Diagnose system related problems accurately and efficiently - Provide individual and group instruction, as needed, on the use of equipment, software, and network features - Provide analysis and resolution for complex operating systems functions - Assists customers by responding effectively to customer concerns and issues - Keep notes on customer requests, problems and solutions share solutions with the IT team - Assist other IT team members as needed and become a resource for the group An ideal candidate has - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 4-5 years of related experience andor training or equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience with the following Platforms preferred Cisco hardware, including ISR Routers, Nexus and Catalyst switches, AironetMeraki Access Points, Adaptive Security Appliances, Call Manager, and Unity Connection WAN Optimization through Riverbed Steelhead appliances and video conferencing utilizing CiscoTandberg endpoints and 4515 series MCU. - CCNP Certification - Ability to communicate with all levels including co-workers, management, clients, other offices, etc in a courteous, effective and professional manner Cisco, ISR Routers, Nexus and Catalyst switches, Aironet/Meraki Access Points, Adaptive Security Appliances, Call Manager, and Unity Connection; WAN Riverbed, WiFi, LAN/WAN
