QUALIFICATIONS:
5 + years relevant SEM, SEO, email marketing, analytics/reporting and general eCommerce management experience Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant subject In depth knowledge of industry tools including eCommerce platforms, web analytics solutions, content management systems, email marketing, social media, etc. Travel eCommerce experience and marketing experience within the Waikiki and Hawaii market is preferred. HTML knowledge is preferred. Must possess excellent writing skills. Strong knowledge of computer software including MS Office with advanced Excel skills and general knowledge of business intelligence systems. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and think both strategically and creatively. Must exhibit superior decision-making abilities, problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills. Capable of proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems. Must have strong customer service skills and problem resolution skills. Must be able to work well under pressure, have excellent time management skills and handle multiple projects. Must be courteous, friendly and professional at all times through appearance, actions and dress.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The eCommerce Manager is responsible for the management of new and existing initiatives that will drive traffic, conversion, revenue growth and profitability for the web direct channel. The eCommerce Manager serves as a subject matter expert with a solid understanding of best practices for SEM, SEO, display marketing, analytics/reporting and email marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create and manage master schedule of strategic online promotions and specials for all properties Manage in-house and third party email marketing and reporting Manage web banner ad content and design with third-party vendors. Manage Sabre Hospitality Solutions booking engine. Maintain relationships with SEO/SEM vendor, email marketing vendor and design/development vendors and recommend new partners as necessary. Work with Sr. Manager eCommerce Strategy to perform ROI analysis across all online initiatives to identify revenue driving opportunities and to exit less profitable programs. Prepare reports (scheduled and ad hoc) and provide recommendations. Deploy A/ B testing platform with quantifiable test objectives and actionable results across emails, homepage, landing pages and product pages. Maintain high ongoing awareness of other competitive websites and recommend key strategic opportunities. Manage and evaluate content on OTAs and third party review sites Manage and provide recommendations for revenue-driving pages across Aquas portfolio of websites. Work with Online Marketing Coordinator to conduct regular property content audits. Manage and evaluate affiliate marketing programs. Make recommendations to optimize web functionality, site architecture, user interface and navigation. Work closely with Online Marketing Manager in managing online brand positioning. Act as a business liaison between eCommerce and other more business-minded, but less technical, team members Practice AQUA 10. Work may require a valid driver's license and transportation. Be aware of accident prevention at all times. Adhere to safety policies and report any real or potential safety hazards to management. Any other duties as assigned by Corporate Director of Online Marketing, SVP Sales & Marketing or CEO.
Notice: Sales & Marketing functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. All team members must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move a team member from his/her accustomed hours as business demands.
