Responsible for the set-up and service of food and beverage for all banquet meals, receptions, coffee breaks and banquets bars. Communicates with Banquet Captain to ensure the best quality service is given to our convention groups and guest.
Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; one year job related experience and/or training. Must have valid New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License or obtain license within 120 days from date of hire. Must be 19 years of age or older; Must possess knowledge of basic foods, alcoholic beverages and service procedures; Must take all state and federal required classes designated for Food and Beverage Service; Must be able to read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders (BEO) forms; Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations; Must work rotating shifts schedule including overtime, holidays and weekends; Must have good organizational skills; Must posses outstanding communication skills and have a positive, dynamic and out going personality; Must have a pleasant and professional speaking voice; Must have a proven record of dependability.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred.
