We are seeking a Project Manager at Anniston, AL. This position is contingent upon successful award of a contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Management and coordination of all training and represent the DHS FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in professional forums related to training and the disciplines to receive training through the CDP. Overall management and coordination for the work required under this contract and shall act as the central point of contact with the Government. Being available to the COTR via telephone at all times, 24/7.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: WMD Experience, preferred with FEMA/CDP Experience with Project Management Process and Procedures, including development of schedules, Risk and Opportunity Management and EVM All candidates must be able to pass a thorough background investigation which will include criminal history checks, records education, employment history, and military history and includes a complete fingerprint requirement Familiar with MS Office Suites, CostPoint, and Deltek applications Independent, self-starter who is comfortable managing within a distributed office environment Available for planned travel, as required (approx. 20%) United States Citizenship required BA/BS in Business Administration, Public Administration, Homeland Security, or a related degree from an accredited college university. Minimum of 14-19 years professional experience in a related field (e.g., fire service, HazMat, law enforcement, emergency medical, emergency management, etc.), including minimum of 8-12 years government program/project manager experience.
