Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for all core marketing activities:
Responsibilities:
Ownership of the marketing calendar, including the development, direction, and coordination of marketing activities and policies to promote HD products and services
Event strategy build out, selection and coordination of HD attendance at key industry venues
Coach and provide guidance to Marketing staff team members including copy and design
Define, Develop, Position, and align the HD story with top performing market segments. Implement strategies through market research, working with product development, and sales promotion programs
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors. Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services
Create, Maintain, and audit Marketing materials for compliance to the Master Positioning Document
Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Software Marketing Experience and a proven track record of success
Education – BS Degree in Marketing or related field
Management / Supervision of Staff
Industry knowledge – Median level
Software languages, technical skills include: Word, Excel, some HTML, Google Analytics/Adwords.
NON SMOKER
Desired Qualifications:
Team player with strong organizational skills including the ability to build effective relationships
Ability to work with diverse groups, from top level executive to field foreman
Computer/technical skills are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential, including presentation capabilities
Self-motivated and able to work independently on projects/assignments
Hard Dollar software experience/exposure HIGHLY desirable
Startup or small enterprise familiarity
Working knowledge of estimating and project control packages, Accounting/ERP industry
