We are currently working with a North Austin manufacturing company in their search for an Accounting Manager. To be considered, candidates should have the following qualifications:
CPA or current active CPA candidate
Previous Big 4 or regional public accounting experience strongly desired
Broad General Ledger accounting experience with a company
Strong technical GAAP accounting experience and ability to do accounting research
Experience managing a small team of staff
Reporting to the Controller, the job duties include managing the period-end closings and G/L function for the company; managing and improving internal controls, including SOX and other corporate requirements; overseeing A/P, A/R, and Payroll; performing technical GAAP accounting research and serving as the technical reference within the organization for such matters; working closely with others, including Staff, Executives, FP&A team, Internal and External Auditors, etc.
