The Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory in the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University invites applications for a Postdoctoral position available immediately for one year with possibility of renewal. Suitable candidates with PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering will be considered.
The focus of the project will be on development of novel techniques for Semantic Representations for Large Scale Image based retrieval.
The ideal candidate should have experience in object detection, semantic parsing, image segmentation and large scale retrieval and extensive programming expertise in MATLAB and C/C++, strong publication record in computer vision and good presentation and writing skills.
