Job Title: Manager of E-Commerce

Reports To: Director of Merchandising and E-Commerce

Direct Reports: Customer Service Coordinator

Principal Accountabilities:
The Manager of E-Commerce will be accountable for achieving bottom line financial objectives while managing the day to day operations of the E-Commerce business and E-Marketing. Responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution and implementation related to all components of the company’s website(s). Liaise with the marketing team and third party organizations to devise the strategic direction of the company’s brand integrity. Organize and lead the Web department to meet company standards and strategic financial goals and ensure consistency with the company’s web mission statement.

Partner with Director of Merchandising and E-Commerce to develop seasonal merchandise and financial plans for the e-commerce business.

Prepare and analyze weekly tracking Actual vs. Plan and LY, stock to sales ratio by department, classification, CKFT/Antiques, identifying market trends, best sellers, re-order requirements and stock balancing.

Submit weekly, requests for re-orders and transfers to maximize business trends and opportunities.

Meet weekly with retail team to review business, provide team with weekly financial information while partnering to implement tactical adjustments based upon current trends to drive business and manage E-Commerce inventory.

Forecast product needs to anniversary LY events and plan new and expanded E-commerce events to build customer base, drive frequency and reduce bounce rate from the site.

Upload season product photos and descriptions adding text to product descriptions to meet with company standards.

Insure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item postings, out of stock item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.

Insure the site is well merchandised according to company directives and standards and merchandising is updated based upon the needs of the business for product to look fresh, new and exciting.

Develop and design frequent email blasts for E-commerce, retail, wholesale, trade shows and as needed for company initiatives.

Develop and implement integrated email programs to generate increased traffic to the site and to expand customer lists.

Develop and execute seasonal home page to align with product deliveries.

Manage and coordinate and process all product photography and photography samples with sense of urgency for respective departmental use.

Maintain photo archive and historical data for easy referral.

Develop, create, manage, and implement up to date web content that is current with fashion trends (blogs, press, videos, photos) to keep website enriched with fresh and exciting material.

Support retail and visual merchandising with departmental graphic designs (for invitations, postcards, mailers, etc).

Drive traffic to web and stores through strategic and creative marketing ideas leading to increases sales and profitability.

Develop a team and promote an environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others and support ongoing collaboration to execute business strategy; measuring own success by the team’s success.

Ability to prioritize and direct multiple activities while working in a fast pace environment.

Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to think conceptually and strategically regarding the business with problem solving mentality.

Routinely develop new strategies that expand, encompass or parallel corporate business initiatives to maximize profitability (including and promotional and full price events.

Demonstrate the ability and desire to seize opportunities to be a visible leader and launch new programs or initiatives recognizing how these could be globally executed.

Oversee, manage and execute all components of the E-commerce business from website development, order fulfillment, customer service, e-marketing and social media.

Develop and execute E-marketing strategies and activities to align with corporate branding strategies to increase sales, cultivate customer relationships, grow conversion and build brand awareness.

Monitor and update all web functions to the highest level, incorporating new technologies into the website that enhance aesthetic, functionality resulting in increased sales and profitability.

Execute divisional strategy for product placement, sku count by department/class/category to insure proper presentation of product.

Oversee customer service and fulfillment center to insure timeliness and accuracy of order fulfillment is conducted in a professional manner which aligns with brand DNA.

Manage internal and external web partners to insure timeliness of deliverables.

Remain flexible and available for any company projects (e.g. sample sales, flash sales, pop up shops, etc).

Required Skills:
Ability to organize and prioritize, demonstrating logical and creative thought process.

Demonstrates initiative and sense of urgency to align with pace of e-commerce businesses.

Demonstrates good listening, written, and oral communication skills, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency.

Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross functional teams.

Possess high level of Microsoft office, power point, excel, word, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and social networking platforms.

Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving targeted objectives.

Commitment to working with products and analytics on a granular level.

Bachelor’s Degree desired.

High School Diploma required.
