Virtual Platforms PnP Intern
Internship position in the Virtual Platforms Center of Expertise team in Oregon. Position involves understanding studying the architecture of core and/or other IPs (Graphics, Video) and developing analytical models to capture their behavior. The candidate is expected to have background working on simulators (C++/SystemC) and will be expected to integrate their changes into our existing setup. A good understanding of clocks in system simulators helps.
You must possess at least the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and add to the relevance.
- Must be a student pursuing a MS/PhD degree in Computer Science/Electrical and Computer Engineering
-Preferred Qualifications (some or all):
- Computer Architecture background with knowledge on superscalar processors. Power and performance modeling using simulators
- Minimum 6 months experience in C++ and SystemC
- Background on building analytical models, regression analysis, machine learning techniques
- Background and Knowledge on SoCs - IP knowledge on Graphics, Camera, Video
- Background on Android software stack
