TITLE: Technical Support Specialist Tier III – NCR APTRA Interactive Teller (NAIT) LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah

POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The NCR APTRA Interactive Teller Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing client customer support and technical issue resolution to ensure a satisfied customer base. This includes participating in and ensuring that support is available to customers 24 hours/7 days a week for issues and questions. You will help define and own support processes to enable a consistent service delivery. You will ensure priorities are aligned with customer needs and demands, by providing proactive effective service and communication to clients and internal staff. You will test and replicate issues found in the field for resolution by the product development team. Training will also be crucial in this role as you will provide training to clients in the use of systems and application as related to the products. You will participate in and support on-site installations of company products. You will continue to grow individually, thus increasing your capability to provide additional value to the company. You will be highly engaged in solving complex problems using new and existing technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide effective and timely technical support to clients
• Re-create field issues in a lab environment until resolution
• Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
• Engage in testing and evaluating new technology
• Provide primary on-call technical support to clients to ensure that their systems are functioning properly
• Create and maintain documentation to be used by clients and or technicians
• Support roll-out of new applications or versions
• Managing inventory of replacement parts used to resolve issues
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
• 35 wpm Typing
• Understanding of MySQL/MSSQL

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to communicate well via phone and email to customers, superiors, and peers
• Experience working with customers/clients in communicating and resolving technical issues or concerns
• Ability to thrive in a high energy, high expectation environment
• Keen interest and curiosity in technology and software products
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• 5+ years applied experience in working with computers, electronics and software products
• 3+ years experience with Windows operating systems and peripherals
• 3+ years experience with networking and/or TCP/IP environments
• High School degree required, min 2yr Technical Degree preferred
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and large cumbersome components
• Ability to multitask and manage many projects with little or no assistance
• Ability to work well with hands when needed and in tight areas
