Overall responsibility for the management and control of multiple projects at the Salem/Hope Creek Generating Stations. Primary duties and accountabilities include: Identifying and obtaining required resources to ensure compliance with all Company and governmental specifications on all aspects of the projects. Direct the development, evaluation and award of contracts for specialty vendors and direct implementation in field. Manage a team of matrixed employees form local line organizations working on the project. Provide direction and leadership to project team members. Lead project review team meetings and drive projects to complete established scope. Manage a varied level of contract resources as necessary to complete project goals. Conduct and direct project reviews, investigate problems, develop and implement solutions. Monitor, communicate and negotiate project plans for internal and external customers, suppliers, contractors, vendors and government agencies to meet established project objectives. Monitor and report project performance to senior management using relevant performance indicators. Manage the financial /operating costs for the project. Responsible for achieving project objectives in accordance with established scope, schedule, budget and department procedures/directives. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets, including risk/contingency analysis.

Required: BS in Engineering, Science, Business or Construction related field or equivalent experience. Five years of Nuclear background (operation, technical or regulatory, supervisory and management experience with at least 2-3 years direct experience in managing/coordinating multiple-discipline work activities simultaneously and have a proven track record of successful execution.

Required Competencies: Demonstrated leadership skills, negotiating and contract management skills, conflict management skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge and understanding of project scope development, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, etc. Must meet Nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access.

Desired Qualifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Working knowledge of SAP (Cost Tracing module), DCRMS, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
