Responsible for providing support for the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) FR Y-14M/Q process. CCAR is the central element of the Federal Reserve’s approach to ensuring BHCs have thorough and robust processes for managing capital resources.
This key Finance position will be responsible for the following:
Working across a broad team of contributors to coordinate the monthly/quarterly CCAR FR Y-14M/Q wholesale submission process including timelines, roles and responsibilities, key milestones, progress updates and issue resolution with a focus on accuracy, completeness, timeliness and transparency of information.
Assist in the development and review of comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and repeatable process.
Coordinate data quality reviews and remediation plans for the wholesale schedules.
Ensure the consolidated information presented to the FRB is consistent and reconciled with other results, forecasts, etc.
Partnering with Risk, Audit and/or SOX to review and document existing control environment and identify opportunities for enhanced controls.
Partnering with HTS, PMO and others to research and recommend automation of reporting solutions.
Financial management, finance project management, or financial accounting required.
Experience on cross-functional projects where other participants do not have a direct reporting relationship; abilities in building collaborative relationships across teams.
Experience in process mapping and process improvement preferred.
Knowledge of HSBC wholesale/commercial
Five years proven financial analysis and/or project management experience, or equivalent. Management and consumer financial services experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, business management, related field or equivalent experience. MBA preferred
Strong management, interpersonal, analytical, project management, presentation and verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, systems and reporting preferred
Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages. Advanced spreadsheet and database knowledge preferred
