Manages the successful implementation of a welfare and workforce services contract ensuring that all contractual commitments are met within budget.
  • Make decisions that facilitate program accomplishments and meet goals and objectives on time and within budget.
  • Analyze and evaluate program operations and implement actions to meet designed plans.
  • Ensure that program goals and objectives are met by assigning work and authority effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with the Board, Arbor management, operations staff, community partners and the general public.
  • Maintain existing linkages to community resources and develop new ones to further program goals and enhance the success of job-seeking and employer customers.
  • Evaluate staff performance and authorize staff development and training activities.
  • Provide oversight to project staff to ensure job responsibilities are met.
  • Hire, train and promote staff, ensuring that staffing patterns are appropriately maintained.
  • Make effective use of the available performance management tools.
  • Seek growth and learning opportunities.
  • Handles and accepts responsibility for own work product.
  • Maintains a consistent work pace, adheres to schedules and meets work objectives and deadlines.

  • Requirements
    To perform this job successfully, candidate must show demonstrated planning, training and supervisory abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to delegate, monitor and evaluate complex and technical programs. Human resources management skills. Travel when necessary. Related Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience. Five years professional experience organizing, planning and developing programs and services at a management level plus two years upper level management experience or equivalent combinations thereof.
