SAIC currently has a job opening for a SENIOR PROJECT ANALYST supporting our C4IT Business Unit’s NAVAL SURFACE TECHNOLOGY DIVISION in ST. INIGOES, MARYLAND.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will provide support to the 4.5.10 Division at St. Inigoes, MD. He/She will perform the following duties: preparation of funding document acceptance forms; recording authorizations, obligations, and expenditures in a locally maintained independent database; verifying and validating all charges registered against the client’s accounts; and reconciling data in the client’s management system with that in the NAVAIR corporate business system. Candidate will be involved in budget formulation, spend plans, complete project monitoring and analysis to include Earned Value Management (EVM) as well as contract monitoring and analysis for COR support. He/She will utilize Navy ERP (NERP) and Project Tracking System (PTS) to record planning data and track planned versus actual expenditures. Candidate will also support, gather, generate and analyze contractor metrics to support Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for performance based contracts.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and four (4) years of NERP, cost analysis, budget analysis and contract management experience; OR Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and eight (8) years of NERP, cost analysis, budget analysis and contract management experience are required. High school diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of NERP, cost analysis, budget analysis and contract management experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Self-motivated, organized and capable of working independently or as part of a team, in supporting Government clients.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
