This position is necessary to support customer, regulatory and external audit requirements relative to UHG IT Managed Services and Solutions. Manage or facilitate management of virtual or project teams supporting:
General Audit & Compliance Team Activities
Individual, team, overall work environment enhancements.
Process Management Activities
Managing , Maintaining, Enhancing Audit & Compliance Processes regarding
Report requirements and metrics, including monthly segment reporting
Work intake processes and assignments responding to both internal and external audits, including RFPs, RFIs, general questionnaires, surveys supporting.
Research and response to customer, customer/regulatory auditor or regulatory agency questions, as needed;
Mapping of findings to root causes and develop strategic approach for addressing those findings
Identify, develop, adopt process improvements to support efficient processing and best practices.
Support and facilitate communication and relationship with key business contacts working with, among, and between Internal infrastructure and application teams in the gathering of documentation and artifacts to support inquiries and assessments
Management and key stakeholders in review and development of responses to all audit findings related to compliance matters, as needed;
Communication of issues, potential risks and audit results;
Auditors and application / business segments;IT, Legal, Internal Audit, Privacy, Ethics & Integrity, HR and Communications
Assist, or coordinate, or facilitate
External and internal audit site visits, as needed;
Direct technical issues to appropriate UHT/Infrastructure & application teams, as needed
Data base management, reporting and customer/management assessment communications.
