The Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information and Services (MSCIS) Finance team supports a broad business scope including Surface, Xbox, Kinect, Xbox Accessories, PC peripherals & Software replication. MSCIS is responsible for the manufacturing and delivery of all of Microsoft’s physical products. The environment is dynamic and innovative, where the finance team has to be flexible & deeply integrated with the business.
MSCIS Finance team is looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm to take on a high impact role as a Finance Manager focused on systems and process development for our rapidly expanding and more complex business. As our business expands, we will need to put more focus on moving forward our systems, reporting and process infrastructure. We are looking for candidates with the passion to drive such improvements across the whole organization - the impact would be across both finance and our operations partners.
The key responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following;
Identifying and driving improvements to core finance processes across the organization
Look for efficiencies in the way we do business
Working within teams in defining how MSCIS COGS are managed, reported & run for the future
Involvement in systems programs to help define requirements, provide expertise in driving solutions, supporting implementation and implementing change management programs
Drive the right level of controls & compliance framework across WW MSCIS - that balances business priorities with corporate and business control needs
Qualifications Should Include:
Approximately 6-8 years of demonstrated work experience ideally in a similar supply chain role, covering financial and management reporting
A self-starter with passion and initiative
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
A track record of influence of the business through initiative and in bringing data or analysis to the table
Knowledge and understanding of cost/COGS accounting practices.
CPA/CMA a bonus (but not required)
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
Proven ability to successfully lead cross group activities and collaborate with business partners to drive process improvement.
Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel are required
Experience with corporate finance tools and systems
