Seasonal position (9 months)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and/or software problems
  • Installs and establishes systems for users, including personal computer, printer, scanner, and related equipment
  • Establishes network and e-mail access for users
  • Supports and maintains user account information including access, security, and systems groups
  • Installs, maintains, and upgrades system hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Researches and recommends system upgrades and equipment
  • Operates system backups
  • Assists in security and anti-virus systems operation and maintenance
  • Upgrades and amends system programs
  • Monitors and maintains equipment and supply inventories
  • Operates help-desk to respond to user issues and questions
  • Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Systems administration (Windows 2000 server) experience
  • Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance required

  • Additional technical training and/or computer certification
  • Bilingual skills English/Spanish
  • Two years computer related experience in help desk or related mode
  • HTML experience and Windows/NT experience with conceptual knowledge of Wide Area Networking concepts
