The Investment Analyst position will support the administration of the Technology Investment Management process in the development and review of business case proposals, including upkeep and maintenance of IT Investment Plan.
Working with all areas within IT, this role will provide guidance and counsel to those seeking funding for technology investments.
Working directly with IT senior leadership, this position will help develop an annual IT Investment Plan and will facilitate on-going process to approve funding requests.
Role will assist in the development of information and material to augment business case proposals to expedite the approval process and surface where additional funding or escalation decisions are required.
The scope of this responsibility includes:
Evaluate and consult with business case owners to produce proposals that are well formed and consistent
Coordinate the signup of business cases and perform initial reviews to ensure completeness
Facilitate review of business case proposals with IT groups for approval or escalation
Participate in the prioritization of proposals using consistent, repeatable process to apply a scoring methodology that aligns with corporate strategy and measures business value and ability to execute.
Document and follow-up actions items from business case proposal reviews to ensure a timely and accurate communication of disposition, outcomes, and next steps.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with IT and business sponsors.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, e.g., computer science, engineering, business, mathematics or equivalent experience
Three or more years experience in information technology
Understanding of IT organizations and the various functions and processes used to deliver technology services
Experience in facilitating change management and affecting positive organizational, process or culture change
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with others in IT and in the business
Exhibit strong business skills and financial savvy
Demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments
Have proven and successful track record on coordinating with multiple departments
Build and maintain relationships with department executives, peers and individual contributors
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and facilitate cross functional/organizational teams to develop effective solutions
Experience facilitating large groups to a decision
Experience working in a Governance role
Strong SharePoint and Excel skills
