To ensure that all clinical and regulatory activities conducted in the country are in agreement with SOPs and ICH/GCP guidelines according to the clinical development plan, as well as, in alignment with the company’s overall strategic planning. Accountable for all aspects of assigned CR&D clinical trials (Phase I-IV) and post-marketing studies including being the lead of the Clinical Operations Team and management of employees.
Job Primary Functions:
Manage the scope of work, objectives, and other clinical project management activities
Coordinate program management on a global level as assigned
Lead, select, and management of CRO and other study vendors as needed
Serve as the primary project contact for the clinical teams to ensure appropriate communication channels are maintained and reporting schedules adhered to
Collaborate with clinical management and central functions to develop project budgets and resourcing plans
Manage clinical project/program budget to meet financial and company goals; identifies and develops change orders for outsourced projects
Develop project plans, schedules, and other scope definition documents for assigned projects
Assist in the maintenance of project management information and tracking systems
Coordinates project activities for team members regarding their mission-oriented project tasks to ensure that project/program milestones are met
Evaluate the probability and impact of risks, develops plans for minimizing their impact for project objectives; conducts project reviews
Serve as leader for assigned clinical program teams.
Experience within the vaccines or pharmaceutical industry
PhD or Medical Degree
Experience in Project Management
Experience in budget and/or P&L management
Advanced knowledge in Vaccinology and Immunology
Consolidated experience in Research, Development and General Management
Ability to manage cross-functional and cross-cultural project teams
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
Strong business acumen
Ability to manage “without authority”
