The work assignment will primarily consist of all tasks related to program editing, set-up, operation, trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance for CNC machines and other production support equipment.
Successful candidates must be able to accurately read manufacturing prints, machine drawings and operator’s manuals, adjust tooling and process parameters, interpret programs and interact with service technicians to solve problems. Additionally, they must be able to operate material handling equipment, use a variety of measuring equipment, and perform other tasks related to carbon brake disk manufacturing. They must possess detailed reading comprehension and mathematic skills to accomplish the job requirements.
Successful candidates must have an associates degree in machine technology (or equivalent experience, however acquired) and experience in operating and setup of a variety of CNC machines and other processing equipment.
