This is a senior position in charge of leading the design and development of data architectures and environments for a diverse set of on-premise and cloud based systems in large-scale, complex programs that combine governance processes with technology to achieve high performance. They will play a lead role in transforming the organization through the use of new and innovative technologies. This position is part of a new and growing team. Responsibilities Responsible for data strategy, architecture and solution to fulfill the requirements business needs, enterprise architecture, data warehousing, analytics, data volume, frequency needs, and long-term data growth Establish the cross-application platform data and distribution standards (publish, consume, governance), and tuning strategies Ensure data security requirements Monitor industry trends, directions and new database software and hardware Develop and present substantive technical data and database recommendations to senior and executive management Develop strategies for data migrations, data recovery and data availability (incl.

failover) Select tools and systems in order to meet business needs Assume overall responsibility for the quality of the data systems (incl. interfaces) and databases Work in close cooperation with the project manager, team members, client representatives and other technology experts and vendors in the design, evaluation, selection, implementation and support of major databases and metadata structures Support road map, project planning and work effort estimation Areas of specialization Data modes and facilitation of data modeling (i.e. conceptual, logical, physical data modes for different purposes) Relational database solutions (e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.) Cloud, data warehouse and BI solutions (e.g.

Redshift, OBIEE, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) SOA, ESB and ETL technologies (e.g. Mulesoft, Informatica) Data migrations and cleansing solutions Data quality and master data solutions Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or other relevant studies 5-10 years of relevant experience Leadership skills with hands on data architecture and development experience Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse and matrix-ed environment Ability to identify and proactively manage risks Required experience with Oracle OBIEE, SQL Server, Tableau, Informatica and Mulesoft. Understanding of interfacing technologies like SOA, ESB ETL, RESTful API concepts, JSON, XML and SOAP. Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Workday, Ariba and JDE APIs and event driven connectors a plus DB2, Redshift, Google BigData, Alteryx, Hadoop a plus Knowledge of MDM, ETL, data profiling, data archiving data synchronization, data migration, data integration and data storage design patterns Solid skills in relational databases - SQL, XML schemas and data modeling.

JavaJ2EE are an advantage Experience with documenting data models using UML andor ER diagram types. Solid communication and presentation skills lead, data architect, senior Oracle OBIEE, SQL Server, Tableau, Informatica and Mulesoft. OA, ESB ETL, RESTful API concepts, JSON, XML and SOAP. SQL, XML schemas and data modeling.
