J.D. Power and Associates is currently seeking a

Senior Account Director, Global Automotive Sales, in Troy, MI.

Responsibilities:
Grow JDPA sales, annual revenue and direct operating income for assigned OEM accounts

Lead account team sales and business development efforts at assigned OEM client accounts for syndicated and proprietary research, PIN, consulting, dealer/network, vehicle quality, product development and field/dealer training activities

Manage account activity and business portfolio (client service and business development) for assigned OEM accounts

Develop and execute client strategy and quarterly sales plan to generate/improve JDPA and client ROI

Serve as the primary contact and resource for assigned OEM clients; build and maintain relationships with group of business clients and C-Suite Executives

Qualifications

Required:
Four year college degree; 15+ years of OEM work experience including assignments (WHQ, Field and Global preferred) in sales, marketing, fixed operations, brand management, product quality, customer satisfaction

Strong familiarity with the global automotive industry

Advanced sales/client service experience with ability to establish and grow client relationships at C-Suite levels with expert skills around maintaining effective client relationships

Expert level communication and presentation skills

Strong organizational skills, time management, and understanding of SalesForce.com

Strong listening and interpersonal skills

Expert consultative sales planning, development of complex solutions, and marketing capabilities

Expert team-builder / collaboration skills; ability to work within a matrix organization

Advanced skills in problem solving and root cause analysis

Advanced understanding of data mining techniques

Advanced financial management knowledge including budget management and control

Advanced leadership and negotiation skills

Familiarity with J.D. Power products and services and client service / complex sales experience

Advanced software knowledge with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, mTab
