This job reports to the Shipping Group Leader . Relocation is not provided and travel is not required. This is a Full-Time position , working 1st Shift,Must be able to work overtime and weekends . Number of Openings for this position: 1 Overview Roll Forming Corporation is a leading world-class manufacturer of custom rolled products. RFC is an ISO registered tier 1 supplier to major U.S. OEM's. Located in Shelbyville, KY. RFC leads the custom roll forming industry in technology development, has integrated internal process tool building, and operates five plants where coil strip is formed into open and welded custom shapes and tubes utilizing a variety of roll mills, many of which are fitted with state of the art prenotching presses providing a diversified customer base with complex, high quality products. Job Skills/Requirements Seeking candidates with strong background in shipping and receiving interested in working 1st shift (7:00P-3:30P Monday-Friday) and overtime as required. Summary: Under minimum supervision, prepares the items for shipment including creation, and verification of the proper records for incoming and outgoing shipments. Performs as material handler for operations and may assist production as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Performs as material handler for operations and may assist production as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: - Assists truck drivers, insuring the compliance with all RFC procedures and safety guidelines. - Responsible for ensuring lifting devices are inspected, serviced, and maintained and for performing and documenting regular inspections, which could include checking lubrications, filling fuel tank, changing batteries, or replacing liquefied gas tanks. - Operates lift equipment to move, load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, shelves and boxes by hand or with lifting devices in order to deliver material to and from the production areas. - Responsible for loading and unloading trucks with lift equipment, including the creation of all documentation required for incoming and outgoing shipments. Must insure material is properly packed, labeled and verified for accuracy against bill of lading, pack list and any other records. - Records shortages and corresponds with appropriate internal department to advise appropriate personnel of damage, potential damage, part count, or other discrepancies. - Responsible for maintaining material areas which must be in clean and in order with proper tagging on all materials. - Other duties as assigned. Candidates should have: - HS Diploma or equivalent - Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes - Strong computer and math skills - Must be able to work flexible hours - Must be able to sit/stand/climb in and out of equipment frequently and cannot be afraid of heights. - Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. - Must have valid Driver's License Additional Information/Benefits While you may apply directly to the company at the Shelbyville, KY location, you will not be able to speak with someone.
