The Membrane Fabricator will use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. In this role, you will apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and evaluate information from a variety of sources. You will be an area leader and provide guidance to others while ensuring that production goals and outputs are met, a safe work environment is maintained and that the team adheres to Quality standards and principles. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities
Spend approximately 40-80% of time performing job requirements associated with area job description
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, internal and external to cells
Review orders and implement schedules
Organize and assign work; supervise and assist employees in daily work to ensure products meet order specifications
Provide team members with feedback on performance
Requisition parts or supplies, detect and correct defects in Bills of Materials in conjunction with Supervisor, Planning, Engineering, and Sourcing
Ensure that ISO 9001 quality system requirements are met
Maintain and promote good housekeeping
Observe, promote and exhibit all environment, health and safety rules
Demonstrate safe work practices and is a positive influence on employee adherence to all EHS policies
Advocate / Drive lean initiatives within area
Help to raise awareness and promote participation in EAC events
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Ability to work under minimal supervision
Previous experience in manufacturing environment
Demonstrates a high level of operational understanding of work practices, technology and SRA’s
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of area specific equipment
Minimum of 2 years of directly related on the job experience
Proficient in MS Office and SAP
