Focus on selling TDCloud and Solution Store vendor products to resellers. Has a thorough understanding of the direction of the Tech Data's Cloud strategies (or initiatives). Creates and executes business plans to uncover new opportunities, increase sales and profits for cloud product lines and Tech Data. Includes travel to industry conferences and travel to customer's sites to build influential relationships with Tech Data's Field Sales team if assigned to customers. Possesses a high level of expertise, experience and technical knowledge about TDCloud programs and the Solution Store products and order/quote process. Acts as a trusted advisor to resellers to educate them about cloud products, and lead discussions with senior level executives at the reseller or vendor.

Responsibilities:

Sales Attainment: Performs outbound sales calls to identified target customers in order to quote prices, provide product information, and build relationships within specific cloud product lines. Works to resolve complex customer problems or issues. Assists Sales with account strategies to educate and increase sales within their accounts. Tracks account's credit status to determine accounts needing review or accounts that may run into credit problems, and works with credit contacts to resolve any issues.

Engagement: Assists Vendor Partners in creating and implementing business plans to uncover new opportunities, increase sales and profits and secure growth. Meets regularly with TDCloud vendors and Tech Data management to discuss performance and other issues in relation to technology sales. Builds influential relationships with the Vendor Partner's field sales team, Tech Data's field sales team and customers. Handles inbound calls from internal and external customers assisting with any inquiries. Makes presentations to customer's and/or Tech Data Executives and Vendor Partner representatives. Coordinates day-to-day activities with product marketing and sales teams to meet and exceed all established goals. Assists in determining product marketing and sales goals, tracking and reporting the results to management. Communicates with various internal departments to resolve customer issues and questions.

Customer Recruitment: Locates new Vendor Partner sales opportunities through all available lead sources. Qualifies leads, determines prospect needs, closes orders where appropriate, establishes and communicates required follow up actions. Training: Participates in Vendor Partner-sponsored and Corporate-sponsored training/meetings to attain new and existing product, industry, and company knowledge in order to provide better service to customers. Participate in trade shows, seminars, trainings, and other marketing events. Leadership: Acts as a team leader and mentor to other PSC team members.

Requires up to 30% travel per month.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
